WHO: ONE: The Digital Dialog, the new web site that presents side-by-side comparisons of the faith, beliefs and traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
WHAT: ONE: The Digital Dialog announces this edition’s feature topic: Miracles. In this Dialog, ONE takes a look at how the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths view Miracles as a sign of God’s power and presence as seen in the Torah, Bible, and Koran.
WHERE: www.onedialog.com
WHEN: March 20, 2008
WHY: Miracles are more than fantasy. They are cloaked in mystery, but as discovered on ONE: The Digital Dialog, they are signs of the awesome power of God. Miracles are God’s way of letting the faithful know that He is there and that His power is beyond what they could ever know. It took a miracle of God to part the Red Sea so that Moses and the Jewish people could flee from Pharaoh. God displayed His miraculous power again when He called the Prophet Mohammed, a man who could neither read nor write, to lead the Muslim people and record the Koran. And another famous miracle will be commemorated by Christians worldwide this weekend as they remember the Resurrection from the dead of Jesus Christ on Easter. Miracles are symbolic in each of the three faiths, and are the basis for so many religious beliefs, traditions and celebrations today.
ONE’s ultimate goal is to help promote religious understanding. More information is available about this topic and others covered by ONE. The ONE writers, expert authors and educators in the fields of Jewish, Christian and Muslim beliefs and customs, are available to provide information and interviews on this and other faith-based or current event topics.
