Motorola ROKR Z6 Released SIM Free - Z6 ROKR Music Phone from Motorola

This new device is a sliding mobile phone and follows on from the recently released U9 range of ROKR phones. The difference is that the Z6 is a slide phone whilst the U9 is a flip or clamshell design.

The Motorola Z6 ROKR has initially been made available as a SIM free handset meaning that consumers can simply buy the Motorola Z6 and insert their own SIM card containing their existing mobile number and account details.

When handsets are sold as SIM free they are open to all networks without network locks giving the consumer the feedom to connect to any operator.

Successor to the relevantly recent release of the Motorola RIZR Z3 and Z8, the Motorola ROKR Z6 forms part of the new MotoMusic platform.

Featuring EDGE Technology in addition to the specification of the original motorizr z3, the Motorola Z6 ROKR promises to feature an enhanced music listening experience with the use of the new Linux-Java based operating system and Windows Media Player 11.

Bearing in mind that the Linux-Java based platform has only been featured in very few handsets to date, this will no doubt increase the profile of the Motorola ROKR Z6 to that of a very high level.

Although, the Motorola ROKR Z6 features a 2.0 mega pixel camera, as does the Motorola RIZR Z3, the display resolution has been improved offering a pure finish and clarity to images that will make you feel like you are actually in the picture and text will appear that much sharper.
