Writiki.com Collaborative Creative Writing Website Launches!

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 19, 2008 – Writiki.com is the writing wiki project. We have created a collaborative environment where anyone who wants to write can come on the internet and contribute. The key element is the collaboration. And the question is, can a large group of people come together and write a story, or even a novel-length piece of creative writing together?

The goal on Writiki.com is to prove that yes, we can. We want to show that a lot of imaginations putting ideas into words can produce a work that is unique and interesting. In fact, we believe in the possibility so much that we're willing to bet that it will happen many times. That's why we've developed an open structure for people to not only work on existing stories, but to start new ones as well. We hope for lively discussion on the discussion forum, and people helping people, giving advice, and generally coming together constructively in a new and creative way.

First and foremost we hope to foster a community of and for people who want to or like to write. Maybe you've always wanted to write, but never had the time. Well we want you to jump in and start putting ideas on paper (so to speak) no matter how much time you have. Contribute a little, contribute a lot.
