BEL pays Rs.36.41 cr interim dividend to Govt

Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has declared 60 per cent interim dividend to its shareholders for 2007-08. Mr V V R Sastry, Chairman and Managing Director, BEL, presented the interim dividend cheque for Rs.36,41,37,600 (Rupees Thirty Six Crore Forty One Lakh Thirty Seven Thousand Six Hundred) to the Defence Minister, Mr A K Antony, at New Delhi on Friday evening (March 14, 2008).

This is the fourth consecutive year that BEL is paying interim dividend. BEL is one of the few select PSUs consistently paying dividends.
