Performance Pathways Brings Online Assessment Capability to Assessment Builder

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 18, 2008 – Administering local assessments with Performance Pathways’ Assessment Builder gets even easier this summer with the release of an online assessment component code-named “Athena.”

With the goal of maximal performance and flexibility, Athena can be configured to reside on-site anywhere in a district. This capability allows faster performance and superior end-user flexibility.

Athena will allow districts to create online assessments using their own or existing standards-based items that reside in Content Library. Students can take the assessments from any desktop browser and teachers can review results immediately.

With the results immediately available, teachers and administrators will be able to quickly adjust classroom instruction and help students perform at higher levels. Educators can also quickly compare assessment data to other state, local, and national assessment results already residing in Performance Tracker.
