Bone and Cancer Foundation Announces New Online Resource for Patients and Health Professionals

The Bone and Cancer Foundation, (www.boneandcancerfoundation.org), provides the latest authoritative information on cancer that spreads to the bone. This new online resource contains medically reviewed information for cancer patients and family members, physicians, nurses and other health professionals.

Four publications are currently available on the website and in print: Breast Cancer, Bone Metastases, & Treatment-Related Bone Loss; Prostate Cancer, Bone Metastases and Treatment-Related Osteoporosis; Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (ONJ): Information for Cancer Patients; and Myeloma Bone Disease: Current and Future Treatment. Dr. Roodman is Professor of Medicine and Vice Chair for Research, Department of Medicine, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Director of the Myeloma Program at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute.
