The fashion show enabled designers, photographers, model agencies and event planners to do business. Many found the event so useful that they promised to place their casting calls on IMJ-Online in the future, as they felt there was just nowhere else to look when it came to choosing the right model for the job.
Commenting on the success of the night, IMJ’s English editor Christina George said: “We really wanted to make IMJ a part of the real world, not just the virtual world. It’s been a fantastic night and many of the models have been asked by the booker's here to do future jobs with them! It’s also encouraged many of the booker's to get back in front of their computer screens to check out the next big thing on IMJ-Online.”
The understated fashion on show combined a traditional tailored look with a special Paris flare – a unique combination which encourages many young and exciting designers to go to the city every year. And a great time was had by all with champagne flowing all evening. There was also a sushi bar set up so the 400 + guests could enjoy the latest trend in party food, as well as the fashion.
