March 15, 2008 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA  -  Aaron L. Parker, PH.D., Pastor and Zion Hill Baptist Church will be the first church ever to worship with Spelman College on the college campus on Easter Sunday.  This ground-breaking Easter Sunrise service will begin at 7:00a.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at Sisters Chapel ,350 Spelman Lane, Atlanta, GA 30310.  All are invited to attend.

Both Zion Hill, established in 1872, and Spelman, established in 1881, grew out of the Friendship Baptist Church located on Mitchell Street in Atlanta, GA.  Sister organizations by birth, this will be an historical moment for both the College and the Church.  Zion Hill expects to take the church to the campus community – a host of members, a full choir, praise team, dance ministry, full ushers ministry and music ministry-- to Sister’s Chapel for the early morning service. Anticipating the church’s characteristic sensational service and Pastor Parker’s spiritually and intellectually aggressive preaching, Spelman prepares for a radical worship experience with the long-standing community church.

Don’t miss this chance to be a part of history.  Often around this time, we hear echoes of the age-old song “Were you there when they crucified my Lord?”  The answer, for all of us, is probably a resounding “no”.  Now that there is the opportunity to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ in a historically unique worship experience, what will you answer the next time you’re asked, “Were you there?” Let your answer be “YES!”

Those looking for an Easter service to attend are encouraged to come to this life-changing event.  It is free and open to the public. Expect to be blessed.
