TSRHC Announces “Making A Thumb” Educational Video for Hand Surgeons

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 14, 2008 – “Making a Thumb” takes a fresh look at pollicization, reconstruction of the thumb by transposition of the index finger. This proven hand procedure transforms the lives of those born with an underdeveloped thumb or without a thumb.

The video features classic, as well as never-before-seen medical illustrations by the father of modern pollicization, Dr. J. William Littler, and an in-depth look into the international history of the surgery.
