Power Technology, Inc. Introduces 0.5 Amp PMi Laser Module

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 13, 2008 – Power Technology, Inc., a leader within the photonics industry for almost 40 years, recently introduced the PMi laser module that is capable of producing 450mW from lasers ranging from 405nm to 2330nm. The customizable PMi laser module can deliver 500mA to almost any laser in a 9mm or 5.6mm package.

A higher-power version of Power Technology, Inc.’s PM laser module, the PMi offers all of the features of the PM laser module including a precision current source, customer focusable power and customer adjustable power levels.
Users familiar with the PM product will notice that the PMi is slightly larger at 0.75 inches diameter, and is also slightly larger in terms of length. The module is ideal for a wide variety of applications, from positioning to alignment to analytical instrumentation.
