Pennsylvania based, Dr. Joe Capista, recognized as The 2008 Small Business Person of the Year

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 12, 2008 – Media, PA – The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce has recognized Dr. Joe Capista as The 2008 Small Business Person of the Year. Dr. Capista will be honored on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Small Business Awards Luncheon at Drexelbrook Corporate Events Center in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.

Selection for this recognition is based on business accomplishments, community and public service, entrepreneurial spirit and chamber service.

Dr. Joe Capista is the founder and owner of Williamsburg Dental, a 5-Star dental practice located in Broomall, Pennsylvania for over 25 years.  Williamsburg Dental is recognized as one of the most successful dental practices in the entire United States. In addition to overseeing operations for Williamsburg Dental, Dr. Capista is an author and highly sought after public speaker.

For the fourth year running Dr. Capista is the Official Cosmetic Dentist for the NBA Philadelphia 76ers Dancers.

Other honorees at the awards luncheon include Small Business of the Year, Sure Power, Inc.; Family Business of the Year, Health Mats Company; and Not-For-Profit/Charitable Organization of the Year, Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired.

The keynote speaker is Mayor Michael Nutter. The event is sponsored by United Healthcare, SEPTA (The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority), Crozer-Keystone Health System, Neumann College and Montgomery Insurance Services.
