Tara Kachaturoff was a guest speaker at the Women and Leadership in the Workplace Conference hosted by the Michigan Business and Professional Association on Thursday, March 6, 2008 in Michigan.
The Michigan Business and Professional Association represents over 20,000 members who employ over 160,000 people throughout the State of Michigan. It was estimated that the event was attended by over 400 women professionals.

The Women and Leadership in the Workplace Conference and Awards Program is an annual event that provides educational and networking sessions, encourages leadership, promotes high professional standards and recognizes distinguished women leaders for their accomplishments.
Tara talked about the value of developing interpersonal skills as a key to dealing with change. “The foundation of your personal and professional success is based on your ability to create connections with others. All we are, all we have, all we do … it’s all linked to our relationships,”

After a long and successful career in finance in the corporate world, Tara Kachaturoff now runs several companies that offer coaching, consulting and virtual business services. Tara Kachaturoff is Michigan’s first Reach Certified Personal Branding Strategist as well as its first Certified Online Identity Strategist. She is also the creator, producer, and host of Michigan Entrepreneur, a weekly television talk show that features businesses from startup to stellar as well as organizations that support entrepreneurship. With over 85 shows produced in two years, she and her team plan to continue to support and promote Michigan business well into the future.
