SecureUSA’s shallow bollard is proving popular. This innovative shallow foundation bollard is named the SideWALK Bollard™ for its ability to be installed within or as a sidewalk requiring only a nine inch foundation. The SideWALK Bollard™ was crash tested by the Department of State at the K4 level, which is 15,000 lb. at 30 mph.
With the recent success of the SideWALK Bollard™ SecureUSA has developed a stronger and better shallow foundation bollard for facilities requiring a higher level of protection. Recently, SecureUSA released the new and improved version SideWALK Bollard™ II having a hefty K8 to K12 engineered crash rating, which is 15,000 lb. at 40 mph or 50mph.
The bollard was released after successfully passing all engineering tests and crash simulations. With the new SideWALK Bollard™ II SecureUSA will continue to provide perimeter defense solutions for critical infrastructure in major metropolitan areas, but will now have the option to offer a higher level of protection. The SideWALK Bollard™ II will open up the door for clients that have facilities requiring higher protection criteria to utilize the new bollard solution because of its increased crash rating.
The new SideWALK Bollard™ II will use the same range of decorative sleeves to finish the installed bollards to provide an aesthetically pleasing look to perimeter protection.
The SideWALK Bollard™ Series is a part of family of shallow foundation vehicle barrier products that SecureUSA has been developing since early 2005.
