Neal Taylor joins Sierra directly from engagements with Ista North America and NWP Services where he has consistently demonstrated effective leadership for the multi-family billing and utility management industry. In addition, Taylor led the Ista sales team to record-setting performance for the industry and led Ista’s Business Development Team in the development of new products and services. At NWP, Taylor served on the Board of Directors for two years, representing a major investor--DQE Enterprises for whom Taylor served as Senior Vice President. Taylor has a broad business and legal background developing companies that provide hardware and web-enabled services to multiple industries, including utilities and multi-family housing.
“Wherever Neal Taylor has led, industry innovation and leadership have resulted,” said Cary Frieden, Sierra’s Co-founder and CEO. “ Sierra’s team, technology, and proven ability to deliver our services across the country, combined with Neal’s leadership and extensive connections throughout the U.S., will help us continue our march toward industry leadership. We have moved from the 14th largest to the 8th largest utility billing company in the U.S. over the last two years primarily through word of mouth and client referrals.”
“It is very exciting to join the Sierra Team at this opportune time,” said Taylor. “Sierra proved to be nearly impossible to beat when I was a competitor due to the level of service, technology and delivery provided by Sierra. Now that I am on the inside with Sierra, the reasons for that are clear. The levels of productivity and quality that Sierra’s team of highly-dedicated employees achieve every month are substantially higher than the industry average. And, the amount of labor expended by our Clients to manage their programs is much lower with Sierra. The first thing I plan to do at Sierra is let the market know what we can currently do. Then, Sierra will continue to introduce the most innovative line of services available in the industry. The move to industry leadership will be the natural consequence.”
