Mar 08, 2008 – Scottsdale, AZ—The formation of a new charity organization focusing on special needs individuals was announced today by Angel Medflight Worldwide Air Ambulance Services.
The foundation is expected to be active by mid-summer of this year according to Jeremy Freer, company President and CEO.
The inspiration for the charity was the recent medical evacuation of a future Olympic competitor who suffered an electrical heart malfunction during training. “We really are here to serve”, adds Freer.
Based in Scottsdale, AZ, Angel Medflight operates a fleet of fixed-wing, 100% medically dedicated aircraft with fully trained medical and flight personnel. It is the only air ambulance service in the country to offer ground ambulance transfers, whether in conjunction with or separate from air transports.
