Los Angeles, CA  - Who says you can't sell head-turner clothing and hand-stitched quality shoes and give hope to the HIV widows and orphans of South Africa at the same time?

Eight percent of the sale proceeds goes to support the South African families ravaged by HIV and AIDS.

"These are hard-working women trying to make ends meet by producing sturdy, comfortable, hand-stitched shoes," said Barraza who in November 2007 has personally visited Durban in KwaZulu Natal, the province with the highest AIDS infection rate in South Africa.

"We are proud to carry this new line which benefits the members of the "Soul of Africa" charitable collective. Every time we sell a pair of Soul of Africa footwear, we donate $10 to the organization which creates employment for these women and thus supports their orphans affected by AIDS," Barraza said.
