Tychi Systems, Inc., of Salem, NH has created a new design, BioFire, for it's world leading line of biometric locks. BioFire's curved handle approaches to within one half inch of the door's surface thus preventing clothing, hoses and equipment from catching on the lock.
Sheng Deng, President of Tychi Systems, explained, "Our locks are being used more and more in business applications for private offices and secure work areas and we felt that we had a responsibility to address circumstances beyond the ordinary for these customers."
He added, "Institutional demand is also increasing and many hospitals, clinics and laboratories require this design. Businesses use our biometric locks as part of their Data Loss Prevention Programs to safeguard their Intellectual Property and to protect their confidential employee and customer records. Medical facilities shouldn't be denied this benefit because of our product design."
The new lock has all the security and convenience features of Tychi's other biometric products. It incorporates their exclusive scanned thermal imaging recognition technology, it requires nothing that could be lost, stolen or exchanged to unlock it and it identitifies the last 1000 entrants by name, date, day and time.
Deng concluded, " As our locks become more visible, we must address the concerns of those with less than normal interaction with them. This, we feel, is a good start."
