Since he began practicing law, Bailyn has become recognized as a tough litigator, and he thinks that others could benefit from learning his methods.
“I get calls to participate in difficult cases frequently. Unfortunately, I have to turn down most of the requests because my time is so very limited, but I realized that if I wrote a book, then I could share my knowledge with people much more efficiently and on a much wider scale,” said Bailyn.
The book will feature eight of what Bailyn considers to be the most interesting business litigation cases, which will be broken down to illustrate specific techniques and procedures utilized in each. The focus will be on such topics as defamation, breach of contract and tortious interference, among other things.
“Even though every case is different and has its own nuances, there are basic approaches that can be used again and again with great success. It’s just knowing when and how to use them that makes the difference,”
The book, titled “The Good Fight: How to Win in Law” is tentatively set to release early next year.
