Black the Vote endorses Hillary Clinton in 2008 Presidential Bid **Breaking News**

Black the Vote has snubbed presidential candidate Barack Obama, the only African American candidate.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar 03, 2008 -
Black the Vote is backing Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Black the Vote, in a surprising move, has snubbed the only black presidential candidate, Barack Obama. "When it comes down to it, he doesn't have the qualifications to be the commander in chief," said Walter Edmonds, spokesperson for Black the Vote. "We aren't comfortable with an Obama presidency for several reasons.

1) Barack and Michelle Obama have shown that they are more concerned with the welfare of African-Americans than Americans. Evidence of this can be seen by the statements made by his church of over 20 years: http://www.tucc.org/black_value_system.html
Michelle Obama's racial thesis: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0208/8642.html
Her comment about being proud of America for the first time, only a few weeks ago: http://hotair.com/archives/2008/02/18/michelle-obama-hasn...

2) Obama's communism flavored statements: "When we've got CEOs making more in 10 minutes than ordinary workers are making in a year ... then something is wrong." So he's the arbiter that should decide what is fair? Does he want everyone to make the same amount of money? That economic system has already been tried. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/380/

3) His association with groups such as DangerousNegro http://www.dangerousnegro.com and the terrorist William Airs, and Tony Rezko: http://www.pajamasmedia.com/2008/02/what_you_didnt_know_about_obam.php

4) We don't think it will sit well with Americans to have a black Democratic president doing what Democrats do, taking money from (mostly) white Americans and giving it to (mostly) black Americans.

5) He's light on policy specifics, and the specifics don't add up, if he intends to balance the budget.

6) He does not have the record of a uniter, and in fact doesn't have much of a record at all, voting "present" rather then yes or no on an unusually large number of bills. That's not responsible.

7) He proposed and misled Congress about the details of a bill that amounts to a Global Tax that American citizens will now be forced to pay to give money to poor countries. We feel that charitable giving is important, but it should be initiated by individuals, not the government with our tax money.

8) He shirked his duties as the chairman of a committee in charge of our war in Afghanistan, and has gotten absolutely nothing done, because he's been too busy campaigning. He states that he didn't want to go to war in Iraq because Afghanistan should have been the focus, but then he does nothing as the committee chairperson.

9) He is a contradiction. He talks about not wanting to disenfranchise voters, but the huge turnout in Florida and Michigan would be disenfranchised if their votes are not heard. Of course, their voices were supporting Hillary, so it's okay to disenfranchise them.

10)We have enough black rappers, r&b singers, and rock stars. We would like the first black president to be less of a rock star and more of an honest, straight talker with substance, not fluff.

11) He got caught in a lie. His comments on NAFTA are all political promises that he doesn't intend to keep. The memo that the AP obtained shows that his economic advisor told Canadian authorities that it was just political talk, nothing to worry about.
