Train4TradeSkills plumbing home study gets British PM’s backing

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown's plans to encourage British workers to train for skills is applauded by Train4TradeSkills boss, Mr. Jan Telensky, whose company trains thousands of plumbers each year, through home study courses.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 29, 2008 -
In the light of British Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s warming to British workers to get a skill or face unemployment , the CEO of plumbing home study specialists, Train4TradeSkills’ Mr. Jan Telensky has said

“I’m delighted the government is backing initiatives to encourage British workers to train for skills. Without skills, there’s no future for British workers. Britain risks slipping years behind in the global skills race and are our jobs are already being taken by an influx of overseas skilled plumbers, electricians and trades people. For a nation of shopkeepers and skilled tradesmen most of us  now can’t even get a British workman out to fix a dripping tap”.

Mr. Telensky was speaking in the light of Gordon Brown’s recent comments, in which the PM was reported to have said "In the coming decades the number of the world's skilled jobs will double. It creates the greatest opportunity for whichever country rises to the education and skills challenge”.

Train4TradeSkills launched their revolutionary home study plumbing courses in early 2007, with a new blended approach to learning that combines theoretical learning from books with a PC based virtual reality house and hands-on practical training in state of the art workshops.

Train4TradeSkills students are already finishing their apprenticeships and many have started their own businesses. The course has attracted students, both male and female, from all walks of life to the potential of working as a qualified plumber.

The company claims their  home study courses are far more effective than apprenticeships with working plumbers as they enable students to study in their own time, at their own pace, and get hands’ on skills from residential stays at the company’s workshop training centres.

Mr. Telensky added
“For years we’ve freely welcomed in qualified workers from overseas and given them jobs that should be done by British workers. We’ve a vast skills gap to catch up on before we can even fulfil our domestic needs, let alone start supplying British skills to the rest of the world which is what we should be aiming for. I’m delighted that the PM has given skills training schemes such as Train4TradeSkills his backing”.

End.
