At Good Seed Records we thought it was high time someone spoke up for the artists an indeed for the people behind the scenes, so we thought who better to speak about it than the Promoters, Dj’s and Artists themselves. So we went and set ourselves the task of capturing the essence of the music scene in Ireland today. Bearing in mind the changes that have occurred and where we are at as a nation towards Music.
The Irish Music Scene Documentary is a tool for Irish Artists and Bands who wish to “take control of their careers.” This in-depth documentary focus’s on the Industry and Business side of music and will take a look into the real life of the musician. What really goes on behind the scenes and the amount of work involved in making an impact on the public.
Through this documentary we will show the general public how complex the music industry is today and how every section from the Artists, Promoters, Record Labels, Print Media to Radio; intertwines in creating a Product.
We have talked to over 10 A list artists that have already made a major impact on the music scene and those trying to and that are making waves in their own right. Plus the people behind music in Ireland. Gaining support from the top Dj’s and Presenters in this country and people in the spotlight within the industry.
We covered extensive areas, giving artists and the general public a never seen before insight into the Irish Music Industry today. This will educate and thus make it a better working arena for those entering one of the highest grossing industries in Ireland - The Music Business.
And for music lovers, they will get a chance to see their favourite acts in a way they have never before seen. All in all the viewers gain from this through entertainment and insight.
