What’s new
In fact it is this very multiculturalism that, when mixed with British character gives the city its global appeal.
And it is this very, global, cultural allure that London Out Loud, a new online magazine, is bringing to its readers.
The magazine, which goes live from today, covers the news, the people and the events that make London one of the most vibrant, uber cool cities in the world. Because, where else will you find a whole city coming out to celebrate the Year of the Rat? And at the same time, where else will you find a museum - which also includes a famous, yet fictitious address – for one of the most popular fictional detectives?
Talking about the magazine, managing editor Julia Sorribes says: “This project is quite challenging and exciting, and we are determined to make it work. Our main priority is to give our readers all sorts of interesting tit-bits on London.”
“We want our readers to feel as fascinated as we are by life in the Big Smoke,” she adds.
Editor Denny Extremera says: “I think our strongest selling point is that we have a different view of London. It is not just the view of outsiders, but also of those who are passing through and living experiences in intense detail, every new idea or trend they find in the city. We are expressing our impressions as we discover the city with the insight of journalists who come from different countries.”
