J Henry Single “I Love My NASCAR Weekends” his fastest selling on iTunes

PR Log (Press Release) – Feb 28, 2008 – J Henry’s new hit single “I Love My NASCAR Weekends”,  on the Adrenaline Music Group label,  has sold more than 5 times any single on iTunes in his career. Long known for his Americana Rock style, J Henry is clearly being embraced by NASCAR fans across America. The band has played the Brickyard 400 two of the past three years, sharing the stage with Lori Morgan, Jack Ingram and playing the same day as Rascal Flatts

Will their finally be a NASCAR anthem? If the J-Henry fans are any indication, there will be. At recent shows in New York City showcasing his new album Code Red, the fans have clearly embraced his first single “I Love My NASCAR Weekends”, making it his fastest selling song on iTunes to date.

About J Henry

J-Henry  grew up in New Jersey in a middle-class family alongside four brothers. Years of listening to his siblings' classic rock collections stirred a need to create his own Neil Young - Lynyrd Skynyrd - Led Zeppelin - inspired "rippin' rock."

J-Henry is back with his second CD entitled CODE RED, an album Henry describes as "A bit more developed as far as the writing and recording. Anthony and I added a lot of texture and instrumentation to this CD. We tried some violins, pedal steel guitar and used lots of vintage recording equipment and Amps. I am very happy about the quality of Code Red."  

The first Americana single "I Love My NASCAR Weekends" came about from J-Henry’s experience touring the NASCAR circuit the past couple years. "We got to meet so many people and really understand the NASCAR fans and their incredible devotion to the sport" says Henry.
