New Jersey ACA-accredited summer camp, Appel Farm Arts and Music Center, has added a new two-week session to its New Jersey Summer Arts and Music Camp for kidssages 9-17 that runs June 22-August 15.
For the past 47 years, Appel Farm has run four and eight-week sessions of exceptional instruction in music, theater, dance, photography, video, recording arts, creative writing, sports and swim. The new program will retain the same elements as the longer sessions, but will give families more flexibility in planning their summer, while still allowing their children to benefit from the individualized instruction and skill-building that are the cornerstone of the arts camp.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer this new camp opportunity,”
Set in a secluded southern New Jersey location nestled amid preserved farmland and orchards near Elmer (Salem County), Appel Farm Arts and Music Center is less than an hour drive from the major cities of Philadelphia and Wilmington and approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive from the Newark/New York area. Swim and sports are also highlighted and the camp boasts a short-course Olympic-sized swimming pool.
Session Dates
Two-week session dates run June 22-July 6 and July 20-August 3, 2008 (Sunday-Sunday)
To make the camp experience even more accessible, Appel Farm is offering a discount on tuition to those who register by March 31 for the four or eight-week sessions. Some scholarships are also available. Parents are encouraged to contact the camp at (856) 358-2472 for more information and to speak directly to Ms. Quinn, or to Assistant Camp Director Cori North.
