The report, "China Natural Rubber-Market Review & Outlook 2007-2008 Proposal", which is available at http://www.reportbuyer.com/
Authors recall that in 2005, Typhoon Damrey played havoc with large stretches of the rubber forests in Yunnan and Hainan. They say the yield in 2005 was only 510,000 tons, down by 10.6% from 2004. But in 2007, the rubber forests have recovered and rubber tapping technologies have improved too. They predict that it is expected that the output of natural rubber should recover, and should match, or better the 2004 output.
Analysts find that the increase of natural rubber output in China is coupled with rapidly growing natural rubber consumption in the country.
The report answers questions such as: how will the surging demands for natural rubber in China affect the supply-demand ratio in the Chinese market? It also predicts how the import of natural rubber will evolve, what effect the development of synthetic rubber will have on the natural rubber market, and forecasts to 2008.
