HVAC products, now offers their i-Series programmable thermostats with an installation Set-Up Wizard feature that reduces set-up time in half the time of competitive models.
The new Set-Up Wizard on models 9701i2 and 9725i2 saves contractors installation time and also makes programming easier for homeowners by navigating users through a series of menu-driven screens with simple instructions, available in English, Spanish, and French.
This helper feature is a further enhancement to the award-winning Robertshaw i-Series thermostats that have been recognized by the industry for their easy programming and display flexibility.
“With this next generation of i-Series thermostats, we’ve made set up and programming even easier and quicker by adding the Set-Up Wizard,” says Tim Butler, Director of Marketing for Thermostats at Invensys Controls. The wizard, similar to those found on personal computers, allows users to set the time and date on their thermostat, schedule service reminders and select comfort settings, personal preferences, system settings, fan modes and security options.
More New Features on i-Series Models
In addition to the easy programming features, Invensys has added a multitude of new features
to make these thermostats more homeowner friendly, such as automated time adjustment for daylight savings time and indoor air quality reminders.
“We’ve loaded up the features so consumers get more in these models than competitive offerings and wholesalers can carry fewer products,” Butler said.
Also new is adjustable backlighting that can be used at all times or only while programming;
Homeowners can control the temperature using a remote sensor, when these models are used with Robertshaw remote indoor or outdoor sensors. The 9701i2 is a single-stage, heat/cool thermostat and the 9725i2 is the multi-stage model.
