Speaking on behalf of the chairman of the LSC, Chris Banks, Mr Gardner announced a £1 billion annual spend to increase the quantity and quality of apprenticeships in England.
“To make this work, we must make the whole process demand-led”, Stephen challenged the audience of over 500 Apprenticeship providers from around the country.

“By starting with currently advertised vacancies, our pilot guarantees the whole process is demand-led from the very beginning, and ensures the easiest possible sell to employers”, explains Matt.
“The pilot has been very promising so far, and we intend to launch pan-London later this year, working with all FE Colleges and Apprenticeship providers across London. By building on our unique aggregation technology, we plan to provide hundreds of potential vacancy-led Apprenticeship opportunities every day!”
