Winmark Homes, http://www.winmarkhomes.com, recently donated many of the remaining items needed for Atlanta charity “Bert’s Big Adventure.”  A non-profit organization created by “The Bert Show” on Q100, http://www.allthehitsq100.com, “Bert’s Big Adventure” raises money throughout the year to provide children with chronic or terminal illnesses and their families with a magical weekend at Walt Disney World.

“Bert’s Big Adventure,” http://www.bertsbigadventure.org, scheduled a trip for mid-February, and released a wish list of remaining items needed for the trip.  Michelle Jenkins, President of Winmark Homes, heard the request during her morning drive, and decided that Winmark Homes would assist in supplying the remaining items on the wish list.

“I love ‘Bert’s Big Adventure’ and how it provides happiness to families that don’t necessarily have an abundance of joy in their daily lives,” Jenkins said. “I am thrilled that Winmark Homes could contribute to this extraordinary cause.”

Winmark Homes donated various items, including digital cameras, CD players, memory cards, phone cards, CDs, two-way radios, batteries, rain gear and more.  Winmark Homes’ employees happily volunteered in finding the quantities on the list.  They rose to the occasion and gathered 12-13 of every item needed.

“Bert’s Big Adventure” is an Atlanta-based charity that provides an all-expense paid trip to Walt Disney World for families that are often encumbered with doctor visits and medical bills. This wonderful charity goes above and beyond to provide families with a first-class Disney World experience. They stay at the finest hotels on Disney property, eat at the greatest restaurants, and tour the parks VIP-style. Families are even provided with a private plane, which transports the group to and from Orlando. For more information on “Bert’s Big Adventure,” visit www.bertsbigadventure.org.

Since 1990, Winmark Homes (a family-owned company) has been serving Atlanta’s homebuyers and earning its reputation by building high quality, affordable homes and communities that blend spacious interiors with aesthetically beautiful exteriors.  David Jenkins founded Winmark Homes with a philosophy that was relevant then and is more relevant today -- “building affordable excellence.”  For more information on Winmark Homes, visit www.winmarkhomes.com or call 770-614-3101.
