New Access and Disability: Essential Law and Practice course announced by Workplace Law

It is specifically designed to help service providers comply with the complex legislation surrounding access and disability.  

The one-day Access and Disability: Essential Law and Practice training course has been specifically designed to help service providers comply with the legislation surrounding access and disability and ventures beyond the Disability and Discrimination Acts to look at how building regulations, health and safety and fire safety laws also influence how accessible a building and service should be.

The course tutor is Jean Hewitt, a Chartered FM surveyor by background. Jean holds an MSc in Facility and Environment Management as well as health and safety and fire risk management qualifications.  Jean is a qualified trainer in Disability Equality and Awareness and is an independent Access Consultant, holding both NRAC and IEC accreditation.  She has many years experience as a trainer and adviser and has provided professional support to a wide range of companies in both the public and private sectors, from the smallest charity to local authorities and large multi-national organisations.
