Penrith Panthers stars Trent Waterhouse, Shane Rodney, Nathan Smith and Luke Lewis recently decided it was time to make a stand when it comes to playing their part in saving the environment.
New comer http://www.ManhattanScooters.com.au has been focussing of late on the environmental, financial and practical benefits of scooters when it comes to getting around Sydney. Nick Tsotras, CEO of http://www.ManhattanScooters.com.au recently said “it’s been great for our company to have an association with the guys from our favourite footy team, the Panthers. It’s no secret that many people nowadays are starting to see how much easier it is to get around Sydney on a new scooter. Not to mention how much better it is for our environment”
With the average cost of filling a tank being less than ten dollars and a range of up to 300km it seems that everyday there are more and more of these zippy scooters on Sydney roads and in country towns.
The players from Penrith Panthers reportedly shopped around Sydney scooter companies before deciding on an association with http://www.ManhattanScooters.com.au
Luke Lewis from the Panthers said “we needed a ascooter which could manage our weight because we’re all pretty big boys and one that we could use on the motorway. With all that in mind and after shopping around a lot of scooter stores in Sydney we couldn’t go past the Manhattan 150l 16 inch wheeled 150cc motor”.
Photos of the players on their new scooters and Bessie Bardot can be seen at the Manhattan Scooters website which is listed below.
Manhattan Scooters has been associated recently with Bessie Bardot, EMI Music Australia and new rock band The Fakers.
The Penrith Panthers players will be using their new scooters not only to navigate Sydney’s ever crowded traffic system but to attend training sessions with the Panthers.
