DALLAS – Shermco Industries, a leading provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training, announced today the opening of its new Tulsa, Okla. operations.
Providing NETA testing services to the Oklahoma and Kansas markets, Shermco opened the service center at the beginning of February. The expansion was a result of the need to service several key accounts as well as power plants, large industrial facilities and municipalities that can all benefit from a local Shermco facility, says Ron Widup, Shermco executive vice president.
“We’re very pleased to provide Kansas and Oklahoma industry and municipalities with safe, qualified, and certified electrical power system services” said Widup.
Long-time Shermco employee, John Waite, will serve as the Tulsa operations manager. Waite brings almost 20 years experience in the electrical services industry to the position.
