PRLog (Press Release) –
Feb 26, 2008 – Lending a hand to help combat neuromuscular disease, ERA Wilder Realty sponsored several events throughout 2007 across all 13 office locations across the Carolinas to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). During ERA Wilder Realty’s 2nd Annual Wilder Business Conference, Eddie Wilder presented a check in the amount of $66,327.19 to our local MDA coordinator.
"Sponsoring these events is just one more way that we can show our support for MDA and the important work it does for those with neuromuscular diseases," said Eddie Wilder, President. "Every contribution, no matter how small, can make all the difference in helping researchers to find a cure."
“We are incredibly thankful to have such friends in the fight against neuromuscular disease like ERA Wilder,” said Todd Hermon, Regional Director for MDA.
There are hundreds of events organized by ERA real estate members nationwide to benefit MDA. Since 1977, ERA brokers and sales associates have collectively raised more than $30 million to fund research and provide services to help the more than one million Americans affected by neuromuscular diseases. The sole corporate sponsor of MDA from the real estate industry, ERA Real Estate is among the top corporate contributors to the organization each year.
