Over the past few months,EZ Comics has taken up a new challenge, to help children all over the world learn about different world religions. We are working hard to design and E-learning interactive webpage to teach students about different world religions. In addition, we are working together with a professor at Yale University, USA and may potentially become involved in a partnership with the Interfaith Religions Project spearheaded by Tony Blair, past-PM of the United Kingdom. This looks to be a very exciting venture and an opportunity to truly create religious tolerance across the globe.
Through substantial market research, we have discovered that religion is one area that is perhaps the most significant for students to learn more about. We hope that such a venture could be interesting and engaging for students worldwide. So far, we are working to focus on five religions in a child-friendly format: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Judaism.
The purpose of discussing world religions is to promote respect, friendship and understanding between the major religious faiths; and to make the case for faith itself as a force for good in the modern world. EZ Comics is confident that this project will allow kids to respect and value each other’s beliefs and to truly understand these beliefs, while not merely offering blind obedience to general stereotypes. Our ultimate goal is the creation of a more peaceful and respectful society, for individuals of all faiths, ethnicities, and ideals.
