MUNDELEIN, Ill. – Wingstop, the wing fanatic’s favorite chicken wing chain, has made an emergency landing into the city of Mundelein.
Chris and Peggy Van Aken of Van Aken & Associates, Inc. opened the new Wingstop at 720 South Route 83, next to the Dunkin Donuts. The store is open from 11 a.m. to midnight daily. To contact the new Wingstop or to place take out orders, call 847-566-9764.
Wingstop’s signature bone-in chicken wings and boneless wing strips are prepared fresh and are available in nine proprietary flavors. Both types of wings are made-to-order and there are no heat lamps, microwaves or holding bins in the store. Side dishes are made from scratch and prepared daily in each location. Party platters are available for catered events such as office parties, family gatherings and sporting events.
“We’re elated to finally be open and serving the community,” said Chris. “We’d like to thank everyone for the fantastic show of support during our opening week.”
