POCATELLO, IDAHO - Verdure Technologies, Inc. ("Verdure") management announced the release of its Micro-Gas Attendant™ to the dairy industry at the 2008 World Ag Expo. The 2008 World Ag Expo (WAE), was held in Tulare, California, from 12th -14th of February 2008. The Expo is the largest farm show in the world with 1700 exhibitors from 60 countries displaying the latest in agricultural equipment, technology, products and services on over 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space.
Mark Terry, President of Verdure Technologies, stated, "Verdure could not have asked for a better opportunity to announce our product. The Micro-Gas Attendant™ represents a science-based solution to the dairy industry need to manage its waste lagoons. Dairy farmers across the country are in great need of a waste management system that does not demand an overly expensive price, temperamental operation or the extreme maintenance costs of anaerobic (methane) digesters to reduce greenhouse gases from their lagoons and waste streams.” Mr. Terry said, “Management has had the opportunity to meet with key California industry leaders who research, develop and foster new technologies to assist the California dairy industry, such as Kevin Abernathy, the executive director of the California Dairy Campaign and Joe Mullinax, plant pathologist, of Denele Agri-Link.
