FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Feb 21, 2008 – Since 2003 Aetna UK has been the exclusive UK distributor for Euroimpianti Robotic Arm Palletisers, Pick and Place Units and LGV Systems for end-of-line automation.  Members of the world-leading Aetna Group, the names of Aetna UK and Euroimpianti have become synonymous with providing robust, innovative and quality packaging machinery and unrivalled customer service to blue-chip manufacturing customers throughout the world.

Euroimpianti’s signature machine, the Skilled 504 Robot is a laser guided vehicle system, which provides flexibility, efficiency and guaranteed positional accuracy to +/- 0.5mm.  It has a working area of 360° and palletises up to 1600 boxes per hour with a maximum load capacity for the arm of 120kgs.   For applications where floor space is a premium, the Skilled 101 Robot operates within a footprint of just 9m2 with an operational speed of up to 10 items a minute.

Barry Tucker, chairman of Aetna UK said, “The vital difference with Euroimpianti is that they haven’t become complacent; they are constantly aware of the ever changing needs of our customers and they have made innovation into an art form.  That is why their comprehensive range of machinery has continued to attract repeat custom and new customers worldwide.”

Aetna UK’s reputation has been built on the exceptional levels of customer service and after sales support offered by the UK based sales engineers and their customer liaison teams.  This service has been rewarded by a customer satisfaction rating which is second to none, and they are winning new business through their customers’ recommendations. James Cropper Plc, is Europe’s leading manufacturer of coloured and specialist papers. Steve Crook, Cropper’s finishing operations manager explained why they chose Aetna.  “ We were looking for a supplier who not only provided robust and quality products, but were also respected by their customers.  Feedback from Aetna’s customers on their service and crucially their after sales support, was extremely good, and gave us the confidence to choose them as our partner for this important project.”

Aetna says the Euroimpianti range is designed to improve production efficiencies and reduce costs and complements their range of ROBOPAC pallet stretch wrappers and pallet handling systems. Customers include many well-known international names across the food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, tobacco and paper sectors such as Nestle, Jacobs, Johnson & Johnson, Cussons and Alpla & Bahlsen.  Current installations for Aetna UK also include a major paint manufacturer and a major confectionary manufacturer.
