This portal will provide life long self-based learning to the students enabling them to take tests and also to the teachers to provide content and training to the students. It also provides different stake holders the ability to get their employees certified in different vocations

MBD is making investments to create a state of the art data centre that will be on IBM Technology. In Due course MBD will host its applications on this data centre. The portal will run on IBM middleware. Soon, IBM will extend facilities to MBD Alchemie for hosting this portal on of IBM’s data centres also. This will ensure a global reach to MBD Alchemie. IBM & MBD Alchemie will jointly market the offerings to the student community.
E-learning is the wave of the future in the delivery of content. According to IDC forecasts, the e-learning market, which was about $7 billion in 2004, is likely to witness an exponential growth and touch the $28 billion mark by 2008.
