Lightning Guitar Blues and Blues Alive, two new all blues CDs, recorded live, are on sale now. Next month I will release House Party, a collection of cover songs and my own songs that when put together, create a CD that sounds like crank up the volume and lets get loud party music! My new Direct To Disc is a collection of the best live recordings of my songs. I'm very happy with this CD as it's all songs I've written, and the band is rippin' into the music with super hot performances. Both CDs should be on sale at the shows and CDbaby soon.
The first big festival of the year for me is the Blues and Brews in Laughlin, Nevada on March 21, 22 and 23. Looking forward to this major event and I invite you to join us at the Colorado Belle/Edgewater Casino for a weekend of good times.
This weekend we roll through the Sierras with shows at the Blue Heron in Coarsegold, Iron Door in Groveland and Henflings in Ben Lomond. It will be a lot of fun because each of these places has a great crowd that just likes to get down and boogie. What can I say, the Sierras rock big time!

"Cool Runnin'"

"Cool Runnin'" is the song that has received the most radio airplay. It is a smooth strumming California classic that captures the feel of Cali in a big way. It appears on the Home CD, and Doug Aldrich, the guitarist from Whitesnake, helped mix this terrific combination of clear and harder-edged guitars that have just the right amount of acoustic to make an Eagles fan happy. It's a great road song, people tell me that all the time.
I recently read an email from a nice lady in Oregon who bought the CD and wrote to say she loves the song and plays the Home CD loudly while cooking, wondering what her neighbors must think since she doesn't listen to rockin' music ever!
