“Although I enjoy the practice of medicine, I found that I needed a change of pace,” explained Snider. “At my wife’s suggestion, I picked up writing a medical thriller that I had begun a number of years earlier. Writing Brain Warp gave me the opportunity to learn about the cultural heritage of my father, who was born in Ukraine, and as a result, many of the characters were influenced by their fathers, for good or evil.”

Dr. Gil Snider is a board certified neurologist practicing in Chesapeake, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed training there and at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. Snider currently resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his wife.
