WAMITAB Promotes ALISON as Functional Resource for Individuals, Trainers and Organisations

PR Log (Press Release) – Feb 19, 2008 – The Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB) was established in 1989 with a remit to determine and advise on policy and standards of education, qualifications and training for all employees in the Waste Management Industry. WAMITAB is the awarding body for the waste management industry in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and joint awarding body, with SQA, for qualifications in Scotland.

WAMITAB has promoted ALISON as a functional resource for individuals, trainers and organisations and sees this website as a resource of information to support candidates through the NVQ process.

The Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board particularly liked our Health & Safety Environmental Awareness. The aim of the course is to describe the major issues that effect our environment and help you to understand what you can do in your workplace to improve the environmental performance of your organisation.
