Feb 18, 2008 – Arlington, Texas - An eight-month-old Havana alter Siddhis OE Kavanaugh Rinn was the youngest Havana Brown to earn the title of Supreme Grand Champion Alter in the International Cat Association (TICA).
Supreme Grand Champion Alter is the highest title awarded to alters (neutered males or spayed females) registered and shown in TICA. Siddhis OE Kavanaugh Rinn (also known as Bud) had just turned eight months - the age when kittens are shown in the adult classes - when he earned the points necessary to claim his Supreme title.
Bud was awarded Best of Breed Havana kitten in the South Central Region during 2007 and 18th Best Kitten All Breed in the South Central Region. His dam, Susitna Ladys Gwendolyn Rose was a regional winner and earned her Supreme Grand Champion title during 2006. His sire, Blakewood Oso Espresso, is a regional winner in the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA).
Havanas are also known as the Havana Brown in CFA.
