The centre will have a multiplex cinema, a skating ring, gymnasium, a night cub, a large space solely for “cultural”
There will also be a large children’s area.
All the necessary licenses have now been obtained, so it is planned that the work will start within the month. The entire build is projected to cost in the region of
seventy six million euro´s. and take about three years to be completely
finished.
The designated site is 46,500m2 and once fully operational it is estimated that
4.5million people will visit the centre per annum. The centre will be a huge
boost to employment for the area with about 1000 people being employed directly and a further 500 people indirectly through companies servicing the retail site.
The centre will also have café’s, restaurants and bars, so as to make it a
excellent all day experience.It is also hoped that it will have a knock on effect for the surrounding tourist attractions in La Manga and other Mar Menor area’s close by.
