Calling it “shipping for dummies,” longtime transport services provider, Transit Systems, Inc., has introduced a new web site for consumers who need help shipping furniture, heavy boxes and large items of almost any kind. The new site is located at www.transitsystems.com.
“Consumers can be intimidated when shipping large items because it’s so much more complicated than shipping parcels,” says TSI President Christopher Smith. “Some want to learn more about large-item shipping while others just want to be given a price. The new site meets the needs of both.”
The new site offers information on shipping options, insurance, packing techniques and materials, along with a shipping and moving blog where consumers can trade tips and experiences. Visitors who request a specific price quote are given up to three shipping options.
