As a registered veterinary technician for seven years, Maggie has considerable experience in all facets of veterinary medicine, including emergency and critical care. Maggie has received instruction in animal massage through the PetMassage program of Toledo, OH, and will begin her certification in canine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee-Knoxville this spring.
Maggie is an advocate for disaster preparedness, and has given several presentations on the subject. She is an Authorized Pet First Aid Instructor, and member of Veterinary Medical Assistance Team 2. The American Veterinary Medical Association with their “Certificate of Outstanding Achievement”
Maggie is a member of the Indiana Veterinary Technician Association, National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork.
