He said in a recent interview ‘This is ridiculous, I wrote a Mystery. I merely included a touch of spice to make it more realistic –after all, isn’t that what life’s about. I think what it boils down to is that young people don’t expect the older generation to know about sex. If this had been Jacky Collins or Penny Vincenzi, no one would have said a thing. In any case, the steam only occurs well into the novel. It isn’t the main theme, it just sort of happens a few times after midway.’


Anthony is actually no newcomer to the quill, having already made his mark as a short story writer. Since 1994, his work has featured in magazines, summer-specials, and international writing competitions. His stories have been broadcast on radio, appeared in newspapers, and recorded by ‘Talking Newspapers’. Radio presenter, Pauline McGough, is recording a collection of his short stories for an audio CD, to be released later in 2008.
