AIT, tyBit Champion Justice 4ALL Program with NC Bar Association

North Carolina Bar, AIT and tyBit team up to provide Justice 4ALL initiative.

Feb. 13, 2008 - PRLog -- (Fayetteville, NC) Web Hosting provider AIT (www.AIT.com) and tyBit™ (www.tyBit.com), AIT’s new client-side search engine, announced today their joint sponsorship of the NC Bar Association’s Justice 4ALLcampaign.  The NC Bar Association (NCBA) launched the 4ALL campaign (www.4allnc.org,) with the goal of making legal services available to all North Carolinians, focusing on those at or below the poverty level. “The slogan is an updated twist on the Pledge of Allegiance, "one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all," said NCBA President Janet Ward Black, who has spearheaded the 4All program.

The NCBA will achieve this objective by educating lawyers in NC about the poverty issues in NC, lobbying the legislative and executive branches about the critical need for legal services for the lowest income individuals, and by asking attorneys to donate both their time and money to address poverty issues in NC.  The 4ALL initiative includes an endowment to fund legal aid services to the poor, and a "Statewide Service Day" for attorneys to provide pro bono services on April 4, 2008. “AIT is donating statewide "ask an attorney" toll-free phone numbers, ticket system interface, VOIP technology, and a master call center by which North Carolina lawyers will provide free legal information for one day, as well as an integrated customer relationship management (CRM) program through which the NCBA can evaluate the number of calls answered and the types of legal services that were requested,” said Amber Corbin, General Counsel for AIT, Inc.

“We are excited and proud to be able to use our success to help make justice available to ALL the people of NC.  These are the principles for which I served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army for 12 years,” said Clarence Briggs, Founder and CEO of AIT. Briggs is a two-time combat veteran serving in Operation Just Cause in Panama, and Operation Desert Storm in the first Gulf War.  “I was proud to fight for my country, and I am proud to pledge AIT’s resources to support the principles that our country was founded on,” said Briggs.

In addition, AIT affiliate tyBit™ (www.tybit.com) will provide attorneys who participate in the Statewide Service Day free advertising on its new search engine where it will also promote the "4ALL" campaign itself.  “As a special thank you for participating in the justice for all program, tyBit™ is giving each attorney who works a shift at a call center a local keyword during the Beta period or end of May 2008 and for a thirty day period after tyBit™  goes live,” said Kitti Jo Finch, General Manager for tyBit.  tyBit™ is in Beta (testing) and is expected to go live for commercial purposes 2nd quarter 2008.

Company officials say tyBit™ is a client-side search engine that provides for increased relevancy for Internet search results, serving the needs of subscribers, partners and advertisers.  tyBit™ adapts to each individual user’s preferences, searches multiple engines and on-line indices simultaneously, produces most recent and timely results, incorporates a user’s location and then delivers comprehensive search results to a single interface in an accelerated manner.  This search experience is also available on most mobile devices.  The tyBit™ partner pipeline includes over 80 partners representing over 65 million subscribers worldwide. During the prestigious 2007 Channel Partner Expo Show in Las Vegas, tyBit (Beta) won Best New Product Runner Up. tyBit™ currently has 5,000 advertisers in testing for the Beta period.

“We have come to refer to AIT as ‘the Jewel in Fayetteville’ because of all the things they are doing to make the Statewide Service Day possible.  Their generosity with their state-of-the-art technology and expertise in the field has allowed more call centers to volunteer their resources and more attorneys to donate their time.  AIT and tyBit have really come through for the people of North Carolina,” said Tom Purdy, Information Technology Director for the NC Bar Association.

AIT’s 100% Cisco-powered Tier 1 Network features a 93,000 SF state-of-the-art datacenter and carriers such as Level 3, Time Warner and Sprint and is home to over 210,000 customers from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses.
