Boston based prestigious Image Consulting Firm OPTIMUM is interviewed about Barack Obama's transitions in poltical image. OPTIMUM has noteworthy credentials in the political image arena, having worked with many heads of state.
When interviewed by Carrie Budoff Brown Politico's staff reporter, Evangelia Souris AICI CIP founder of OPTIMUM, talked about the many facets of image and how they affect the perception of political candidates. Souris states that she often notes, during the course of a political campaign that image is not static. For instance, Obama's credentials seemed to be reinforced by the simple presence of a suit and tie.
When Souris works with political clients, even the subtlest detail can make a difference. "It could be anything from the bare essentials, the hairstyle, the clothes or the color of the suit, to the mannerisms they use when they're making a speech, their tone, their eye contact," she said.
