MT Media Holdings Limited to grow credit control function ahead of 2008 growth

PRLog (Press Release) – Feb 11, 2008 – M T Media Holdings Limited is a fast growing publisher of free to pick up Magazines. The Magazines are distributed by our own door to door distribution team and also through our partnership agreements with leading retailers, including Asda, BP, Sainsbury, Tesco, Texaco, Somerfield and other national chains. In addition, a subsidiary company, numbers4life sells and connects free phone numbers to small and medium sized businesses across the UK. The company employs circa 70 people across our site in Chelmsford, which includes, Sales, IT, HR, Admin, Finance and Design functions.

The business is currently raising additional money with which the M T Media and Numbers4life plans to expand by opening regional offices and growing its sales team and functions further.

The Magazines cover the London regions and we currently have 12 regional editions, which have a combined reader base of almost 1 million people.

We make our money through the sale of advertising to small business owners, and due to continued expansion, we are recruiting more ‘collection agents’ to join our credit control function based in Chelmsford.

On a typical day, you’ll be responsible for calling in excess of 150 small business owners as their accounts fall due for payment in order to obtain a payment, either by BACS transfer of Credit Card / Cheque directly to our finance team.

The role is fast paced, you need to be organised, methodical and have some element of prior collections experience, either in a similar business, e.g. large customer base with average debts outstanding of £450 or maybe a background with First Data, or a credit card debt collection team, where you have experience of calling large numbers of customers on any given day in order to bring their accounts back into order and prevent the need for legal action to recover the debt.
