M T Media Holdings Limited, the owners of Whats Local Magazine, the free to pick up publisher and numbers4life, the business telecom provider have announced plans to raise an additional £200,000 of equity via one of the UK’s leading Business Angel Networks. Speaking about the plans, Daniel Corby, Managing Director said, “M T Media Holdings raised £100,000 of equity in July 2007 and a funding line from a leading commercial bank of £400,000 and our expansion plans are on track. The Board have agreed to raise an additional £200,000 of equity to enable the business to progress with expansion on a more solid footing. A leading business angel network was appointed during January 2008 to fulfil this aim” Notes to Editors “Whats Local Magazine” is a free to pick up publisher of local magazines. With 13 issues across the M25 and the South East, the business is going from strength to strength. February 2008 sees the business pass the 500,000 issues mark.
