Demand for UCF Apparel Rises, Area Alumni Turn Passion into Profit – Launch KnightOutfitters.com

PRLog (Press Release) – Feb 10, 2008 – With 169,000 alumni throughout the world and the recent success of the UCF football team, UCF Athletics is gaining momentum and so does the demand for original UCF apparel and merchandise. Brent Nau and Jeff Cargill, two local UCF alumni , teamed up to provide UCF students, alumni and fans with a new option in purchasing officially licensed UCF apparel. Roundtable Promotions LLC, an officially licensed UCF vendor, opened for business on January 15 with the debut of its website http://www.KnightOutfitters.com. Currently the company is selling t-shirts for men and women with prices starting at $14.99 and plans on expanding quickly into UCF merchandise not currently found in the market place.

Both graduates from the University of Central Florida and season ticket holders, Brent Nau and Jeff Cargill decided to turn their passion for UCF athletics into their career after finding it difficult to buy original UCF apparel due to the limited number of vendors.

“We really felt that the selection of shirts and merchandise available at the bookstore and other retail outlets were not very appealing.” explained co-founder Brent Nau. “We wanted to bring fresh new designs that would cater to students, alumni, and fans.”

“We also recognized that the UCF fan base was being under served by the current selection of merchandise available online” stated Jeff Cargill. “Many of our friends who reside outside the Orlando area find it very difficult to purchase quality UCF apparel and merchandise, so we decided to do something about it.”
